Tidal Timber Crafts was born as a passion project of two hobbies, exploratory craftwork and nurturing micro adventures outdoors.

I believe in working sustainably, inspired by nature to handcraft beautiful everyday products, that in turn foster friendships and forge connection to Scottish outdoor life.

My approach

I explore the relationships found in nature — particularly the love and tension points that arise when wood, water, and light meet in a coastal landscape.

Inspired by those moments, I handcraft beautiful objects designed to embellish our own friendships: slow evenings with friends, shared food around a table, meaningful gifts, and pieces that hold memory and story.

The meeting of water and wood is reflected in the Tidal Tableware collection — hardwood and flowing epoxy shaped into serving boards made for tapas evenings and conversation.
